In this beginner class you will learn the techniques of building a piece in the hoop. 

• This will incorporate the lessons of the September 16, 2024, class of creating an embroidery from clip art.
• You will be creating Christmas stockings.
• You will learn how to create an applique on the fabric to create a unique design.
• You will learn how to use the "Fuzzy Fill" feature in the software-this will create the top of the stocking.  
• You will learn how to apply batting to the inside of the stocking.

See Below for the list of items needed for this class:

• You will need your laptop with the software installed and updated from the RNK Website.
• A USB stick with enough memory to download/ transfer a design.
• You will need the largest hoop your machine can work with.
• You will need a base fabric for your stocking and if you want a plain color fabric for the top where you will be filling it with "Fuzzy Fill" Stitches.
• You will need small pieces of scrap fabric in the colors you want your applique to be (i.e. white for a snowman or snowflake)
• You will need either tearaway, cutaway, or dream weave stabilizer.
• You will need a small amount of batting to create your project.
• Bring your Embroidery Machine and the largest hoop you have.  If you have a multi needle machine, please contact the instructor before class so we can work out a way for you to participate.
• You will need to bring the thread colors that coordinate with your project.
