Simple Mini Duffle Bag Class with Deanne
Come make the cutest Mini Duffle bags! They are so simple and super cute! These are the perfect last minute gift for family or neighbor gifts during the holiday season! Come make one for a gift and another one for yourself! You'll have time to make two bags during class. The bag finishes at approximately 12" x 5 1/2" x 5 1/2".

| Requirements: | You'll need the following for ONE bag (if you'd like to make more, double your supply requirements, etc.): 2-fat quarters (one for the outside and one for the lining of the bag - if you are using directional fabric, purchase 5/8 yard); You will also need 2 small pieces - 1 3/4" x 7 1/2" of scrap fabric for the inside seam facings. Coordinating fabric scraps work great for this. Please also bring 5/8 yard of Pellon 2-sided fusible flex-foam/Bosal fusible foam/or Soft & Stable fusible foam for the bag structure. 1-22" zipper; 2 - 2 1/4 yards of 1" cotton webbing for handles OR you can make your own cotton fabric handles by bringing 1/4 yard instead of the webbing. If you use the fabric instead of the webbing, please bring 1/2 yard of Pellon Shape Flex lightweight interfacing (SF101). You'll also need a disappearing marking pen and a fabric glue stick. Please also bring your foot pedal and sewing machine in good working order, scissors, thread, clips, pins, and basic sewing supplies. |
