Bandana Tote Bag Class with Deanne
Come make the latest trendy tote bag: BANDANAS!!! These are so cute and handy and can be made in whatever size you'd like. Join us for a fast and fun class!

| Requirements: | You must bring your machine in good working order and know how to repair it. We cannot pull service people from the floor to fix your machine. If it breaks down during class, you can rent a machine for $20 to complete the class. Please bring the following for your class: sewing machine and foot pedal in good working order. Bring scissors, thread, pins, clips, and any other basic sewing supplies that you usually use. For the bag, please bring the following (or purchase at the store): * 4 bandanas measuring at least 21-22" square (cotton is preferred, but we can work with other types of fabric) * Matching thread for top stitching and quilting * 1 yard of coordinating fabric for the lining in the bag and handles * 2 yards of 1-sided FUSIBLE foam, such as Bosal, Soft & Stable, or Flexi Foam. This will give your bag a really nice structure base. * 2 yards of Pellon SF 101 (or other brands of lightweight fusible interfacing) * If you'd like to add a key fob on the inside of your bag, please let the instructor know and she will provide you with this. :) * Please pre-wind at least 3-4 bobbins to make the process faster * Bring a Frixion Pen, or other erasable marker for complete your marking lines This bag measures approximately 20" by 25" when finished. For this bag, Deanne used two bandanas for the front and back of the bag. Another color was used to construct the sides and bottom of the bag. A 4th bandana was used to tie to the front of the bag and is optional. |
