Intro to Curves - Drunkard's Path with Amanda F.
Join us in conquering your fear of sewing curves in this introduction to curves class! We will be working through techniques on how sew curves and eliminate the fear you may have! We will create this beautiful Drunkard's Path pillow cover or you can make additional blocks to create a stunning table runner. Templates will be provided for the curve technique. Learn some easy steps to create beautiful curves EVERY time!

| Requirements: | Supplies for the class are as follows: Your sewing machine and foot pedal in good working order. Bring your regular sewing supplies such as pins, clips, needles, scissors, thread, seam ripper, etc. Also bring the following: 4 Fat Eighths; 2 Fat Quarters or 1/2 yard for the pillow flaps; 18"x18" piece of batting; washable glue stick; rotary cutter or scissors; 4/5" ruler (Preferred, but if you don't have it, we'll help you out with one at the store); ironing/cutting station if you have one, but if not, you're welcome to use the store's stations. ***If you are planning on making the table runner, you'll need the following amounts of fabric: 4-6 coordinating fat quarters; 3/4 yard of fabric for the back of the runner; and a 14"x36" piece of batting. You'll also need some coordinating binding to complete your project. This is such a great class to take the fear out of curves and expand your sewing abilities. This is perfect for first time curve sewers, or for those more experienced sewers who may have avoided curve sewing in the past. Come learn some great tips and tricks to curve sewing! |
